154 lbs & NO STRETCH MARKS! Right before I had my daughter, I weighed 180 lbs. So, I have already lost 26 lbs in the first month. I hope to get down to 125-130lbs.

I feel like I healed a lot faster then with my son. Not sure why that is but I'm not complaining. The first month has been great. My body feels back to normal and I've been doing a lot of walking and my normal activity with Joshua and I haven't had any pains or trouble. The first week I had some REALLY bad cramping as my uterus was shrinking back down. I heard its normal to have more intense cramps with the second child. I'll tell you.... it was INTENSE! That only lasted a few days once I got home then it was fine.

Annabelle has been a great eater! She nurses really well and I have no problems in that area. Also, she has been sleeping 6-8 hour chunks from 10pm-4 or 6am!!!! Yayyyy!!!!! Although, I will still wake up throughout the night to check on her and see if she wants to nurse because I'm not used to that! Joshua was up every 2 hours to nurse up until about 4 months and even then his longest stretch of sleep was 4 hours! I was a very tired mama. So, I am very thankful that little Miss Annabelle is a great sleeper.

A little bit of her personality is coming out and I love watching it develop! She is a total cuddle bug and loves to be held. She does cry a lot more then Joshua but its not a bad cry or like something is wrong. It's more like complaining. When she cries, it either means she wants to be held, rocked to sleep, diaper changed or to be fed. Most of the time its to be held and rocked to sleep. She loves to be wrapped and close to me. She always calms down when she is against my chest and it is the greatest feeling! She smiles, lifts her head really well and can already roll over to her side all on her own. She can be laying down on my chest and lift her head and turn it to the other side. It's so awesome! She is very strong already. She likes to stay awake and socialize with everyone. Sometimes she will be awake for as long as an hour. She will be totally content and just hanging out. Other then her crying she is a pretty easy going baby. She sleeps well in her car seat and tolerates her brothers loud noises and is patient with him as he learns to be gentle with her. He has done a really good job with her and loves giving her hugs and kisses and gets so excited to see her. He has pinched her once and hit her (not that hard) and she didn't even cry. Yes, I did punish him appropriately and explained to him that its not nice to hit and that it hurts. He is learning and knows now not to do it.

The first month has flown by so fast! I am feeling great physically and can fit back into my normal clothes already! Annabelle is already almost grown out of her Newborn clothes. I have started putting her in some of her 3 month clothes and they are just a little big, but they still fit.

Once I hit my 6 week postpartum I will start working out and doing yoga! I am excited to get back into shape :)
